At EZ Capital, our core value of helping those in need compelled us to take action. Heavy monsoon rains in July 2023 caused significant flooding and waterlogging in parts of Punjab, negatively impacting many lives.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, our team decided to provide immediate relief to individuals affected by the floods. We focused our efforts on Lohian, a flood-stricken area near our Jalandhar branch.
On July 15th, 2023, we organized a langar, serving free food, in Lohian. This tradition embodies the spirit of selflessness and compassion, ensuring that everyone has access to a nourishing meal. We also distributed food parcels and water bottles to the people so that they could either consume them later in the day or share them with their family members.
Our staff members played an important role in the success of this activity as they volunteered their time, energy, and effort in preparing and distributing the food. Their dedication and teamwork ensured the smooth operation of the langar, serving over 300 people in need.
Seeing people happy after eating food and receiving food parcels made our team happy too, as we played a role in making their day better during those tough times.
